Master of ideas: how to let go of your heart?
Please have mercy, master. How can I relax and get through this? This psychological endurance is a big problem for us. In fact, it is to know the problem. Because it has knowledge, it has me. As I said this morning, knowing is a sign of "me". When we give birth to knowledge, we all stand on my basis. So, this is called epistemology. How can we open our minds without me? That is, to remove knowledge. No matter what the problem is, we should focus on removing what we know. Whether it is good or bad, we should clearly realize that we are now understanding through our thinking. What is our thinking? In fact, I want to be ignorant, but I want to know. (Everybody clap your hands. ) So we should open our minds and put me into practice. Put me down. Where can I put it? Because the establishment of this "I" is often based on interests and fame. So if you want to take me down, you must first ruin your reputation and gain something. If you want to be famous, you should first put down your name and not pursue it. We may not let go at once. For example, if someone criticizes us, he will blush. We feel very happy and excited when others praise us. This is knowledge, this is ignorance, and this is the mind. If you are narrow-minded, start here. First of all, don't be famous, don't care about fame and fortune. What are you looking for? Try to destroy our name, accept this karma, and exercise yourself to be happy. Why are you doing this? Because only when we can get rid of "I" can we have real wisdom, that is, wisdom is the mind. I told you before that when we were walking, people called us liars, fake monks, Shaolin Temple students, martial arts practitioners, acrobats and so on, and we felt very sad. But while we are sad, we are also very happy. What is sadness? It was these acts that destroyed Buddhism. For example, some people call us "Shaolin Temple" and say we practice martial arts. Because of a film about practicing martial arts in Shaolin Temple, Buddhism was finally turned into a kind of "martial arts is Buddhism", which distorted the meaning of the whole Buddhism. When we don't believe in Buddhism, we are very happy to see this kind of martial arts film and think it is to promote Buddhism. In fact, it is not promoting Buddhism, but destroying Buddhism and misleading Buddhism, thinking that Buddhism is practicing martial arts, and practicing martial arts is Buddhism. So when you scold us, the most unpleasant thing is that you are from Shaolin Temple. We were angry, but we couldn't explain it and said, "I'm not from Shaolin Temple." This cannot be explained. This language is actually the most unpleasant language, even worse than scolding us. When we are scolded by other parties, for example, some people call us "fake monks" and "liars". Sometimes we are very happy after listening to it. Why are you happy? First, he cursed fake monks and liars. He cursed "Shaolin Temple", not us (real monks). He cursed the fake monks, indicating that these people still have mindfulness. They hate this fake very much. He doesn't want to fake it, and he doesn't want to learn from them. This is one aspect of our happiness. At the same time, we are also very sad. Sadness means that these problems do exist in Buddhism and have an impact on Buddhism. Why are you happy? Because he scolded us and gave us a warning, let us not study according to this, but repair according to this. Moreover, people who don't believe in Buddhism can't tolerate this fake monk, and this phenomenon of practicing martial arts has appeared. At the same time, it also gives us a warning not to go this way. We are also happy about this, and we have raised our vigilance ourselves. Therefore, being scolded is sometimes not a bad thing. Being scolded can remind us of mindfulness and make us wake up quickly. We can accept others' scolding, and naturally we will be generous. When others scold us, I deliberately listen, "Oh, good scolding. Just scold a few more words. Thank you for the ending, great. " After scolding, I feel uncomfortable, and I feel uncomfortable, but I know it clearly. Sometimes I feel panic when I am scolded too much, but it is good to hold back that strength and my heart will be opened. Therefore, if you want to be generous, you must first find scolding. Be glad to be scolded, accept others' scolding, eat it as a meal and swallow the best food. This is the only way. The same is true in practice. People criticize you, "You can't work. How can you be all thumbs? You have no brains at all. You are dumber than a pig. " When you hear this, you should be happy: "This is great. He said that my thinking is a pig. " It means that the pig is the one who has a problem with my thinking. Then the rest will be fine Isn't it? "Know its evil, there will be its good, good and evil are interdependent. We will be generous enough if we are generous enough without being scolded. Sometimes, why do you suggest begging? Why did Buddha make people beg for food? We must look for this reprimand, look for it, look for it. I told the master of Dabei Temple and the masters of three Daoyuan temples that begging is better than Thailand. Thailand has prepared all ready-made meals and brought them here. Who can not give it to you? He also thinks that it is generally impossible. He (the donor) gave it to you, but you don't want it. He (the donor) still feels unhappy and thinks his karma is not enough. He is very modest, and this work is suitable for laymen. For monks, the real practical exercise is not as good as our mainland. On the mainland, when you go begging, sometimes he really won't give it to you. He really kicked you out. Some people kick you out like a chicken, while others simply ignore you. This year, a teacher went begging and a woman came out. She walked past you as if she didn't see you. She looked away and didn't look back at you. No matter how you talk to her, she ignores you and looks away. Therefore, it is generally unfair to be calm, and paying is the same as not paying. This negative karma is actually an increase in the upper edge, a good karma that creates us, that is, a karma that opens our hearts. If you want to be happy, you have to eat first. This is a very unique one, and you have to find it. Not in Thailand, but in China. I think if Buddhism can't reach the goal that everyone can believe in Buddhism, like Thailand, that's our best karma, so we can't miss the opportunity. I hope you will beg more in the future, so as to broaden your horizons. One is that walking can open your mind, and the other is carrying a big bag and pressing it back and forth, which hurts your shoulders. Moreover, master has been ahead, and it doesn't count if he says it himself. Finally, his heart was even timid, and his heart was opened. This mind does not mean that praise is open, but it is open when you are timid, breathless, tired and painful. If you want to open your mind, start looking here. This is a good way to open your mind. There is also an open mind who works hard in the monk group. Do those thankless things, such as cleaning, cleaning the bathroom. You work hard and then clean up. When you don't clean up, or there are loopholes, people will make irresponsible remarks. Why are you making irresponsible remarks? Because he wants to open your mind, he will open it for you. Sometimes we don't know each other and think this person is very picky. You are such a coward! He didn't do it, he chose me! In fact, people don't pick you, and your merits are not as good as those who pick you. Because he has to pay the price for what he has done, and he has to play tricks on you with blame, so he has to bear a great responsibility. For example, "tell the monk" and so on, and you will be fulfilled. Therefore, you should cherish this statement and accept it completely, so that you can be worthy of what he said. Sometimes, whoever says we are angry. " This man is so unreasonable. And he kept talking about me. He was still talking about me when I did this. "In fact, you don't know that he is helping you. He satisfies you with his practice. We are right to look at the problem this way. Mind a little, not how old I am when I am open-minded There is no difference in size, so why is there no difference in size? We know that there is an idiom, "Mountains rise from the dust". The mountain is so big that it is also piled up by a grain of dust. Things have no size, but we separate the big from the small and can't see the essence. Mountains are all made of a mote, so we regard a mote as a mountain. Don't pursue size at ordinary times, but pursue the small thoughts of the moment. This idea is the whole idea. When this idea is handled, the whole idea will be handled. Therefore, we must know that every cause must have fruit, and every fruit must have fruit. We only work hard underground, that is, we work hard in our minds and minds. That's right. Don't look for generosity from others, don't look for it. We don't care about big or small, this is the mind. If there is a big pursuit, the actual concentration will be narrower. Because you are older, you can be bigger than vanity, can't you? Greater than vanity, can you be greater than Buddhism, and you are greater than Buddhism, can you be greater than reality, right? So we should start with a snack, regardless of everything, even a grain of rice, a mouthful of water, a gesture of sleeping, and a word from others, and open our minds from here. As long as you don't care too much, there is no small mind. If you want to care about a big one, your mind is small. Large, medium and small. So there is no problem of size, the key is whether we deal with the problem according to the local conditions. Now we can deal with it on the ground, and we know that there is no difference between size and size. Why do many practitioners achieve it quickly? Because he no longer pursues big, he thinks there is no difference between big and small, as long as they are not different, they are big and small. According to the precepts, it is better to invite an ordinary monk than to invite 500 arhats. Seven buddha has no other way in Buddhism. You see, it is better to invite an ordinary monk than five hundred arhats. Why? Because he didn't invite them alone, this is a great merit. If there is a difference, it is better to invite an ordinary monk than to invite 500 arhats. Therefore, Buddhism does not lie in the size of your external appearance, but in whether you have a separated heart. If there is no separation, everything is big, and with separation, everything is small. No matter how well you do outside, no matter how hard you work. Invite an ordinary monk and 500 arhat monks. What do you think the ratio is, right? One is in the sky and the other is on the ground. But since you don't invite anyone, you invite the real Buddha instead, don't you? That's right. Five hundred arhats are not as good as an ordinary monk, just because our hearts are Buddhas and our hearts are Buddhas, so five hundred arhats are not as good as an ordinary monk, because he is single-minded. We serve the public wholeheartedly, and this heart is great. Another person who wants to be generous is to give up. Because our "I" is based on enjoyment and senses, that is, eating and using, it produces a powerful me. We should let go of what we can give up and what we can't. We can't give up our property, but the monk doesn't have any property, including a pair of socks, gloves, a dress and so on. When others need it, you must give it to others quickly. What are you going to give? Pay is your concern, in exchange for a big heart, pay quickly, don't stop, don't hesitate, don't stay! As soon as you stay, no one wants it. Sometimes, we add up, "What if I lose? "When you figure it out, this karma will pass. So we should start with giving, and give up everything we like. Including a bite of rice, I especially like it. When you like to eat, it's already a little thought. For example, today, what did you "burn"? It's cooked. I want to eat two more, and then I won't give them. This heart is very small, a little bit, and I won't give it when I'm finished. You regret it, don't you? So, you must give up! You look after things there, why can't you eat? Because the heart is small. (Editor's Note: At noon, Master fasted in a room in Baolin Temple. A person who accompanied him walked several times in the hall, and then stopped by himself and refused to go any more. " Fire is a kind of food similar to cake. Therefore, if you want to be generous, you must first give up and not be greedy. Good reading, bad thinking, this is ok. The obstacle to narrow-mindedness lies in whether we are divided, happy and jealous, which are impossible. What is a true mind? No difference is the biggest heart. It's not what we thought. I feel like my heart is empty. I did a visual job. "My heart came out from my forehead and covered the yard. I built that mountain and that bridge. "No matter where you hide, it is also a kind of caution, is an imaginary mind, it won't work. Our hearts should be filled with emptiness and Buddhism. I think we have no heart for each other. Therefore, if you want to get rid of caution and gain a big mind, you must first start with money, color, food and sleep. Not greedy means not greedy, in other words, nothing. Why don't you want anything? Because in Buddhism, there is nothing if you don't ask for it. No income, the heart says bodhisattva, no income is the purpose, so as to become the supreme bodhisattva. We will be on this psychological scale. So you remember the two best ways, nothing for nothing. No matter when, I don't want anything, so that my heart can be opened. It's not difficult to get through this. Just a little, one thing at a time. That doesn't mean I can't do great things when it comes. You must do small things first. This is the first question.
