How to breed Clivia seedlings?

1. Temperature: The temperature of Clivia seedlings is higher than that of orchids, but the temperature should be controlled between 15~3℃.

2. Ambient humidity: Clivia has no special requirements for air humidity, but normal household humidity is enough. However, in the dry season, the humidity at home is low, so it can be properly sprayed to increase the humidity.

3. Lighting: Clivia seedlings should not be exposed to direct sunlight, and should be properly shaded. In summer, it can be placed on the south balcony for proper shading.

4. Watering: Observe frequently during watering, and avoid the flowerpot from drying out or accumulating water. You can pinch the flower soil by hand, and it's time to water it when you touch it! The usual way to water Clivia is to spray water with a watering can. Aim the nozzle at the leaves, which can not only achieve the purpose of watering and wetting the soil, but also clean the leaves, remove dust and increase the photosynthesis of the leaves; At the same time, there is a little dew on the leaves, and the water evaporates in the sun, which can avoid burning the leaves.

5. Soil: Flower soil should not be too fine or too thick. Too thick, too breathable, root system and soil are not easy to blend and plants are easy to lodging; Too fine, the soil permeability is poor and the roots are easy to rot. When the seedlings grow a leaf, they can start hardening. Reduce watering and put the seedlings in a cold environment (not lower than 5℃), which can increase the stress resistance of the seedlings and make them grow healthily.
