Gardenia jasminoides Ellis is characterized by almost 180 degree spreading, flat leaves and almost no wrinkles. Short, lobulated, full of branches, about 15 cm in height (with pots), and about 16 cm in crown width. It is a mature work and an elegant decoration.

Gardenia is an excellent bonsai tree species with thick leaves, leafless egg shape, extremely slow growth and high flowering and fruiting rate. It likes a well-lit and well-ventilated environment, but it should avoid strong light.
