Process flow of stamping die processing
Stamping die is a special equipment for processing materials (metal or nonmetal) into parts (or semi-finished products) in the process of cold stamping, which is called cold stamping die (commonly known as cold stamping die). I have arranged the processing flow of stamping die for you, I hope you like it!

Manufacturing technology of metal stamping die 1. Processing of blank materials:

1. Milling hexagonal square (verticality error is not more than 0. 1/300), the same pair of mold materials can have the same length and width, and the thickness should be kept at 0.2mm grinding (0.5mm grinding for quenched parts); Chamfering of edges.

2. Grind the upper and lower planes (leave 0.3mm for the workpiece to be quenched).

2. Processing:

1. Drill and tap threaded holes, through holes and threaded holes respectively according to the drawings;

2. Milling each leaking hole or molded part;

3. After heat treatment, the upper and lower planes and reference edges need to be polished;

4. Turning rotating parts, the tolerance should meet the requirements of the drawings.

☆☆ All pin holes can't be processed first: those that need heat treatment should be drilled through line holes, and the rest should be assembled by drilling and reaming.

3. Wire cutting:

According to the matching requirements specified in the drawings, each molded part is cut by wire.

The guide post and the guide sleeve are closely matched with the mould base; The punch is in transition fit with the fixed plate; The pin and each hole are in transition fit.

Four. Assembly:

1. Assemble the template according to the drawing first to ensure that the guide post and guide sleeve are perpendicular to the template and move smoothly;

2. First, fix the female die on the die frame, evenly place the copper sheet with corresponding thickness around the female die according to the gap given in the drawing, and then load it into the male die. Try to punch holes in the paper, and then tighten the male die and female die, and match the pins. (If it is a compound die, it is necessary to correctly align the punch gap before fixing the punch and the die).

3. Then install the discharging and ejecting mechanism.

5. Overall mold processing sequence:

1. Give priority to processing workpieces that need heat treatment.

2. Secondly, the workpiece that needs wire cutting is processed.

3. Then, process the components of the formwork, namely the upper bracket and the base.

4. After processing other parts. 5. Assembly and mold testing

The classification of stamping dies is based on the nature of the process.

A. Stamping die A die that separates materials along a closed or open contour line. Such as blanking die, punching die, cutting die, cutting die, trimming die, cutting die, etc.

B. Bending die is a die that bends a blank or other blanks along a straight line (bending line) to obtain a workpiece with a certain angle and shape.

C. Drawing die is a die that makes a blank plate into an open hollow part or further changes the shape and size of the hollow part.

D. The forming die is a die that directly replicates and forms a blank or semi-finished workpiece according to the shapes of the male die and the female die, and the material itself only produces local plastic deformation. Such as expanding die, necking die, flaring die, wavy forming die, flanging die, shaping die, etc.

E. riveting die is to connect or lap the participating parts in a certain order and way by external force, and then form a whole.

Classification according to the degree of process combination

A. Single-process stamping die A stamping die that only completes one stamping process in one stroke of the printing machine.

B the compound die has only one station, and in one stroke of the press, two or more stamping processes are simultaneously completed at the same station.

C. The progressive die (also called the continuous die) has two or more stations in the feeding direction of the blank, and in one stroke of the press, two or more stamping processes are continuously completed at different stations.

D. The transfer die combines the characteristics of single-process die and progressive die, and realizes the rapid transfer of products in the die by using the manipulator transfer system, which can greatly improve the production efficiency of products, reduce the production cost of products, save material costs, and have stable and reliable quality.

According to the processing method of the product.

According to the different processing methods of products, dies can be divided into five categories: stamping and shearing dies, bending dies, drawing dies, forming dies and compression dies.

A. Punching and shearing die: the work is accomplished by shearing. The common forms are shearing die, blanking die, punching die, trimming die, edging die, hole drawing die and punching die.

B. Bending die: bending a flat blank into an angle. According to the shape, precision and output of parts, there are many different types of dies, such as common bending die, cam bending die, curling die, arc bending die, bending punching die and torsion die.

C, die drawing: die drawing is to make a flat blank into a seamless container with a bottom.

D. Forming die: refers to changing the blank shape by various local deformation methods, including convex forming die, curling forming die, necking forming die, hole flange forming die and round edge forming die.
