This is the largest investment in Xinyang area and the first ultra-supercritical unit since the establishment of Datang Group. At the same time, the unit is also the largest unit in Datang Group at present. It is expected that after completion, it will strongly support the Hubei-Henan power grid and the 500 kV main power grid in Henan Province, greatly improve the stability and reliability of the 500 kV power grid, be more conducive to the hydro-thermal power regulation between Henan power grid and southern provinces in Central China, and play a decisive role in further optimizing the power supply structure of Central China power grid.
