The genetic research of psoriasis is at the international leading level, and the salt-cracked skin immunofluorescence technique is at the domestic leading position in the diagnosis of subcutaneous bullous disease. Liver transplantation, autologous stem cell transplantation, stem cell transplantation, kidney transplantation, cardiopulmonary bypass, beating heart coronary artery bypass grafting, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular interventional therapy, minimally invasive thoracoabdominal surgery, assisted reproductive technology, replantation of severed fingers and microsurgery are at the advanced level in China. He has accumulated rich experience in large-area burns, micro-skin transplantation, micro-fallopian tube recanalization surgery, corneal transplantation, intraocular lens implantation, eye laser treatment and treatment of cerebral palsy in children, and is in a leading position in the province.
In the past four years, the hospital has undertaken more than 200 scientific research projects, including the research of psoriasis susceptibility genes in China, the investigation of genetic resources of isolated people in Dabie Mountain and other national 863 plans, 973 plans, and the National Natural Science Foundation of Anhui Province, among which 34 projects were awarded by the National Natural Science Foundation in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
