1, milling. When milling, the feed rate should be small, and the cooling liquid should be sufficient, otherwise the cutting heat generated will cause the product surface to change color and yellow. Try to use an end mill with large rake angle, good chip removal and sharp cutting edge for machining. When clamping, the deformation of the product after processing should be fully considered, and the clamping strength and workpiece clamping mode should be properly controlled.
Step 2 drill holes. You can't drill directly with a big drill. You can drill with a drill with a diameter less than 10mm, then drill with a smaller boring tool, and finally drill with a large boring tool. When drilling, it is necessary to retreat the drill bit repeatedly to remove chips. In order to ensure that the cutting fluid is fully and timely cooled, the heat can be quickly reduced, and the drilling speed can be appropriately reduced. When the bit is worn, it should be ground in time.
3. Pay special attention to threading materials. PEEK material is wear-resistant, and the thread will wear quickly, so check the thread size frequently. After the tap is worn, it is easy to deform or even crack the product due to the increase of extrusion force. When tapping, the tap must be coated with coolant or tapping oil, and the feed speed should be low. When drilling deep holes, try to drill several times in sections.
