Methods and precautions of aluminum alloy welding
Aluminum alloy is widely used in industrial products because of its good physical properties. However, due to improper selection of welding methods and welding process parameters, aluminum alloy parts are severely deformed due to excessive stress after welding, or weld metal cracks or loose materials due to defects such as weld porosity, slag inclusion and incomplete penetration, which seriously affect product quality and performance. As we all know, aluminum alloy welding is different from ordinary carbon steel and stainless steel welding, and there are many problems to be solved. Next, I'll introduce you to the welding methods and precautions of aluminum alloy.

Protective measures for aluminum alloy welding

1, remove the groove and surface oxide of the workpiece;

2. Adopt qualified protective gas;

3. Break the oxide film on the surface of the molten pool.

Aluminum alloy welding method

1, TIG welding

Used in aluminum alloy, the equipment is complicated, and it is not suitable for open-air operation.

2. Resistance spot welding and seam welding

Welding aluminum alloy sheet below 5 mm has complicated equipment, high current and high productivity.

3, pulsed argon arc welding

Small deformation, suitable for thin plate, hard aluminum, ultra-hard aluminum and so on.

Matters needing attention in aluminum alloy welding

1, clean the surface, clean it with a wire brush, and then clean it with acetone.

2. Fill the pit with small current.

3, welding to specification, according to the thickness of welding.

4. The welding torch cable should not be too long.

Welding cleaning of aluminum alloy

1, carefully clean the welded joint.

2. Soak in 2% ~ 3% chromic anhydride water or potassium dichromate solution at 60 ~ 80℃ for about 5 ~ 65438±00min.

3. Wash the weldment by flushing.

4. Blow dry or dry.

Scope of aluminum alloy welding industry

1, copper-aluminum pipe in refrigeration industry.

2. Copper and aluminum terminals in substation industry.

3. Welding in electronic and electrical industry.

4, the production of living accessories.
