"Our New Era" is directed by Liu Haibo, Lu Xing, Lu Ying, Kurbanjiang, Wubai, Xu Jizhou, and Zhang Ting. The play consists of six units and is based on real character prototypes. It tells the story of the struggle of young party members at the grassroots level, represented by community volunteers, technical workers, explosive disposal operators, village doctors, college student village officials, and members of the private rescue team.
