What is the correction method of upper eyelid depression?
Upper eyelid depression refers to the depression between eyebrows and eyes, which is common in some middle-aged and elderly people in life. There are many reasons for upper eyelid depression, such as heredity, living habits, excessive emaciation, long-term lack of sleep and so on. Depression of the upper eyelid is easy to give people the impression of illness, fatigue and old face, which seriously affects the facial beauty. At present, there are several methods to correct upper eyelid depression in various countries: (1) fat transplantation: the whole adipose tissue from other parts of China is transplanted to the depression, which can correct the depression deformity. The absorption rate of eyelid to transplanted fat is only 20%~30%, which is an ideal fat transplantation site. Transplantation can be done in two ways: incision and tunnel. Put the fat block in and fix it. The transplanted fat will harden for a period of time after operation, but then it will gradually soften, and the blood circulation in the eyelid is rich, so the transplanted fat will survive soon. The key to successful operation lies in the number and location of transplantation. Too deep or too much implantation can cause eyelid drooping.

(2) Insertion method of silicon capsule: insert a special crescent-shaped silicon capsule into the depression through the tunnel and fix it between the orbicularis oculi muscle and the orbital septum. Too deep insertion will affect eyelid movement, and too shallow insertion will cause local small protrusions when closing eyes, so the insertion position is very important. Generally, this method is only considered when it is not suitable for fat transplantation.

(3) Fat injection method: a small amount of adipose tissue is absorbed from other parts of the body, processed and screened, and injected into the depressed part. Most patients can achieve satisfactory results after one injection, and a few people need another injection because of the different fat absorption on both sides or one side. This method is simple, easy to operate and has no adverse consequences, so it is widely used at present.
