He is currently the President-designate of Plastic Surgery Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, the President of Plastic Surgery Branch of China Plastic Surgery Association, the Chairman of Plastic Surgery Branch of Shanghai Medical Association, the President of Plastic Surgery Branch of Shanghai Medical Doctor Association, and the Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Editor-in-Chief of China Journal of Prosthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, China Journal of Plastic Surgery and China Journal of Cosmetic Medicine.

He is a member of the editorial board of American Journal of Plastic Surgery APS, a founding member of American Society of Transplant and Reconstructive Surgery, ASRT, AAPS and ISPES.
