Article 10 If a registered motor vehicle is under any of the following circumstances, the owner of the motor vehicle shall apply to the vehicle management office at the place of registration for change of registration:

(1) changing the color of the car body;

(2) Replace the engine;

(3) replace the car body or frame;

(4) Replacing the whole vehicle due to quality problems;

(five) the nature of the use of operating motor vehicles to non-operating motor vehicles or non-operating motor vehicles to operating motor vehicles has changed;

(six) the motor vehicle owner's household registration moved out or moved into the jurisdiction of the vehicle management office.

You can apply for change registration at the vehicle management office.

The owner of a motor vehicle shall apply to the vehicle management office for registration of change within ten days after the change of the items (1), (2) and (3) of the first paragraph of this article; Where the change is specified in Item (6) of the first paragraph of this article, the owner of the motor vehicle shall finish handling the road traffic safety violations and traffic accidents involving the vehicle before applying for transfer.

According to the Motor Vehicle Registration Ordinance:

Fifty-sixth in any of the following circumstances, the traffic administrative department of the public security organ shall give a warning or impose a fine of not more than 200 yuan:

(1) Heavy-duty and medium-sized trucks and their trailers are not painted with amplification numbers according to regulations or the amplification numbers are unclear;

(two) motor vehicle spraying, sticking logo or body advertising, affecting the safe driving;

(three) trucks and trailers are not equipped with side and rear lower protective devices and affixed with reflective signs;

(four) the motor vehicle fails to carry out safety technical inspection within the prescribed time limit;

(five) change the color of the car body, replace the engine, car body or frame, and fail to register the change within the time limit specified in Article 10 of these Provisions;

(six) after the transfer of motor vehicle ownership, the current motor vehicle owner fails to handle the transfer registration within the time limit specified in Article 18 of these Provisions;

(seven) the owner of the motor vehicle has gone through the registration of change and transfer, and after the motor vehicle file is transferred from the vehicle management office, he fails to apply for the transfer of the motor vehicle to the vehicle management office within the time limit stipulated in Article 13 of these Provisions.
