1, winter pruning
Grapes should be pruned in winter to better survive the winter. At this time, it is mainly pruning, cutting off about 2/3 vines on the grape plants and removing them from the base of the branches. Be careful not to cut off the strong and pest-free mother branches, so as not to affect the growth in the coming year.
2. Top coring
If it is found that the top advantage of the grape is too concentrated, it is necessary to remove the core from the top, mainly by cutting the branches that grow too high and keeping the length of the branches at about 20 ~ 40 cm. In this way, the nutritional components of the whole grape can be uniform, and there will be no situation that the top grows vigorously and the nutritional components in other parts are insufficient.
3. Shooting and draining According to the schematic diagram of grape pruning technology, it is necessary to shoot and drain in early spring. After the new grape shoots grow to 1 ~ 2 cm, they can be cut off, leaving only the robust new shoots. After 7 days of bud smearing, about 4-5 leaves can leave about15-20 new shoots per square meter.
4, inflorescence pruning
If the inflorescence of grapes is too dense, it will exceed the carrying capacity of grapes and make them grow poorly, so prune too many inflorescences. Cutting off the redundant inflorescence two weeks before flowering and keeping the strong fruit branches of 1 ~ 2 inflorescence will make the grapes blossom and bear fruit better.
