Jiangsu Huaian Technician College is a full-time public university, a national key senior technical school, a key technician college in Jiangsu Province, a demonstration base for training high-skilled talents in Jiangsu Province, and a branch of Jiangsu United Vocational and Technical College. It is located in Huai 'an City, Jiangsu Province, the hometown of Zhou Enlai, a famous historical and cultural city, at No.77 Beijing North Road in the city center. Formerly known as Huai 'an Vocational Technician College, the college was upgraded to Huai 'an Technician College in Jiangsu Province in 2008, and Huai 'an Technician Branch of Jiangsu United Vocational and Technical College was added. With the goal of cultivating high and intermediate skilled personnel, the college has set up technicians, senior technicians, China Technical School, five-year higher vocational schools and technical secondary schools, and has opened more than 20 majors. Focusing on the concept of "keeping close to the market, highlighting skills, accelerating development and serving the society", the college has continuously deepened the teaching reform, comprehensively expanded the scale of running a school, and gradually improved the conditions for running a school, showing a good trend of healthy and rapid development. The college now covers an area of 160 mu, with a building area of more than 60,000 square meters. There are more than 7000 students, including full-time teachers 183, including 32 professors, 54 lecturers and 59 technicians. The college has advanced teaching experiment and training equipment such as numerical control, machining center, mechanical processing, electronics, information, chemical engineering and driving, signed school-enterprise cooperation agreements with more than 20 enterprises, and established more than 70 off-campus production practice bases. Scientific and standardized education and teaching management has won the honorary title of the competent department of the Ministry, province and city for many times.
