The inspection of stamping parts is basically the same as that of other products. First of all, there must be an inspection standard, which can be used as a reference for parts inspection.
1, part drawings/inspection instruction (standard) book: Some simple stamping parts can be inspected by comparing various sizes marked on the drawings, so QC should first know how to read drawings, which is the most basic skill, followed by the use of various measuring instruments, the most basic tape measure, caliper, micrometer, gauge, feeler gauge and so on.
2. Special checking fixture: this is relatively simple and needs to be skillfully used according to the actual situation of the parts.
3. Sample: For some parts with complex shapes, which cannot be expressed by two-dimensional drawings without fixtures. This is more intuitive, and it is enough to compare it carefully during the inspection.
The above is the inspection standard, which can basically be used as a beginner's inspection in the future. Other aspects can't be expressed on the drawings, so you need to be familiar with and experienced in stamping process. For example, if you take a part casually, the master can immediately know where the key point is, where there is a problem, what is the possible cause of the problem, what impact it will have on the subsequent process and the whole part, what impact it will have on the mold and how to adjust it. Production line personnel should pay attention to it. These are not clear in one or two sentences, and need a lot of experience accumulation.
Defects of stamping parts: pits, pits, scratches, scratches, necking, cracking, line rolling, galling, drawing side wall not straight, wrinkling, burr, edge dropping, hole deformation, hole missing, hole deviation, flanging/bending not in place, trimming/flanging/bending line deviation, flanging height discrepancy, forming (stretching).
