3. Don't cut leaves in winter, the temperature is low in winter, and it is difficult to grow new leaves after cutting leaves. It is best to pick the leaves and only cut the lush branches when the banyan tree grows vigorously after spring.
4. If you want to grow new leaves after picking leaves, keep the petiole when picking leaves, and don't remove the petiole together.

Core-picking: In the germination stage of banyan, 2/3 of the bud core is picked, leaving only a small part of the base, which can promote the growth of lateral buds and grow more branches to expand the crown. Every time a new bud grows, pick the leaf core when 2-3 leaves grow, so that the crown will become full in the long run.
Sparse buds: In order to grow a good tree shape, it is necessary to sparse buds during the growth period, remove all the redundant buds and keep only the buds with good positions.
Leaf picking: When the banyan tree grows vigorously, leaf picking can make the banyan tree leaves smaller and more stylish. But be careful not to pick leaves from twigs.
Shortcut: Shortcut is to cut off some annual branches. Cutting off the top of the branch 1/5 can remove the top advantage, form short middle branches, make the mother branches thicker and the trees full. Cutting off the top of branches 1/2-3/5 can promote the growth of branches and form more medium and long branches. The main branch can be cultivated by cutting off the top part of the branch and keeping only 1/5.
Shrinkage cutting: Shrinkage cutting is to cut off a part of perennial branches.
