Zheng He (137 1 year-1433) was a navigator and diplomat in China in the Ming Dynasty. Ma, a native of Zhi Dai Village, Baoxiang Mountain, Kunyang (now Jinning), Yunnan, is a Hui nationality. Because it ranks third, it is nicknamed Sambo (or Sambo) (Sambo is the abbreviation of its Muslim religious name "Sambo Nu"). He was a great eunuch in the palace of the Ming Dynasty, and people often called him Sanbao eunuch.

1382, the Ming army attacked Yunnan. Horses and chariots were brought into Ming camp, castrated into eunuchs, and then into Yan Palace. Because of his meritorious military service in the Jingnan Rebellion, Ming named him Zheng and appointed him as the eunuch in charge of the imperial palace officials.

1405 1 1 July (the third year of Yongle in the Ming dynasty), he set sail with a huge fleet of more than 240 seagoing ships and visited more than 30 countries and regions in the western Pacific and Indian Ocean, which deepened the friendly relations between China and Southeast Asia and East Africa. Until 1433 (8 years of Ming Xuande), he set sail for eight times. The last time I went back to Kallikat, I died on the boat. The folk story "Popular Romance of Sambo Eunuch's Journey to the West" calls his travel adventure Sambo Eunuch's Journey to the West.

Zheng He has been to more than 30 countries, including Java, Sumatra, Sulu, Pahang, Zhenwax, Guri, Siam, Adan, Tian Fang, Zoufal, Hume and Mugushu, as far away as the east coast of Africa, the Red Sea and Mecca. These records all represent the pinnacle of China's maritime exploration, more than 80 years earlier than the western explorers Da Gama and Columbus. At that time, the Ming dynasty was ahead of the west in navigation technology, fleet size, sailing distance, duration and related fields.

Zheng He's voyage to the West was nearly a hundred years earlier than that of other countries. Zheng He's fleet has more than 200 ships, including a treasure ship carrying more than 1000 tons and a fleet of more than 20,000 people. Zheng He was a great navigator.
