How to shape rubber trees?
When the cuttings grow to about 80 cm, the upper branches should be cut off, and the stem height should not exceed 60 cm.

After cutting off the top, the axillary buds under the incision will germinate quickly. If the trunk is thick and nutritious, it can germinate 5 ~ 6 lateral branches at the same time, which is often too dense. It is best to leave only the lateral branches extending in three different directions and cut off the redundant lateral branches between them, so that the remaining three lateral branches can form the main branch of the tree, that is, the lateral main branch.

After 1 ~ 2 years of growth, the length of lateral main branches can reach about 80 cm, which should be shortened in time, and the length of remaining branches should not exceed 50 cm. It is also necessary to cultivate three secondary lateral branches at the top to erase the redundant axillary buds, thus forming the second layer of main branches, thus growing into a basic tree with three branches and nine tops.
