If the autologous cartilage rhinoplasty fails unfortunately, the prosthesis must be removed as soon as possible under local anesthesia. Cut an incision from the inner edge of the nostril to form a channel with the prosthesis, take out the prosthesis, then inject normal saline into the cavity of the original prosthesis for cleaning, then sew up the rhinoplasty prosthesis and take out the incision. The whole removal process only takes ten minutes, which is basically painless. It can be completely recovered in 3-5 days after being taken out.
