The collapse of a bridge in Danyang, Zhenjiang caused 2 deaths and 3 injuries. Personally, I think this is an inevitable natural disaster caused by non-human. The specific reason is that we can make a hypothesis that a bridge has been built for too long and has exceeded its service life. It is aging in all aspects of the bridge, such as the aging of steel bars and the weathering and aging of concrete structures, which greatly reduces the stability of the overall structure of the bridge, so this unpredictable and very dangerous thing will happen. First, you must pay attention to safety when traveling. Whether it is a bridge or not, there are other buildings, roads, quadrangles, underground passages and so on. This extremely unpleasant thing may happen after its service life is exceeded, so these things should attract our attention. When passing through old buildings or buildings that have been used for several years, we must pay attention to safety, because buildings like this are used for too long, and unpredictable things are likely to happen. Second, we should reserve some basic safety knowledge. When we were in primary school education, we had a general understanding of some safety knowledge, such as the basic knowledge of fire, flood and earthquake escape, as well as the actual combat drills carried out by the school and the government. Although it was in a simulated environment, we were able to finish these exercises smoothly. Of course, under the current circumstances, we can still apply what we have learned before to our actual combat, which is a very important link. But the collapse of the bridge can only be said that when we encounter such a section, we will walk around, and we will not think that there may be nothing. But as long as this happens, it is irreversible and no one can change it. We can only prevent it and try not to let it happen.
To sum up, the reason why the bridge collapsed is probably because it has been in service for too long and has not been maintained.
