Where is the crankshaft position sensor in Ming Rui?
Ming Rui crankshaft position sensor is located near the pulley, which is one of the most important sensors in the engine electronic control system. It provides ignition timing and crankshaft position signals for detecting piston top dead center, crankshaft angle and engine speed. Sensors come in many forms: 1. The magnetic pulse crankshaft position sensor is installed behind the pulley at the front end of the crankshaft, and the thin circular toothed disc (signal disc) with fine teeth is installed on the crankshaft together with the pulley and rotates with the crankshaft. 2. The photoelectric crankshaft position sensor is installed in the distributor and consists of a signal generator and a signal disk with notches and light holes. The light emitting diode is used as a signal source and rotates with the rotor. When the light-emitting hole is aligned with the light-emitting diode, light irradiates the phototransistor to generate an electrical signal, which is amplified by the amplifier circuit and then transmitted to the ECU. 3. Hall-type crankshaft position sensor uses Hall effect principle to generate voltage pulse signal corresponding to crankshaft angle. It uses trigger blades or gear teeth to change the magnetic field intensity passing through the Hall element, so that the Hall element generates a pulsed Hall voltage signal, which is amplified and shaped as the output signal of the crankshaft position sensor.
