Yiwu Central Hospital (formerly the Municipal People's Hospital) was established in February, 194 1. It is the largest third-class general hospital in Yiwu, which integrates medical treatment, first aid, teaching, scientific research and preventive health care. It is a network hospital of international emergency rescue center designated by teaching hospitals in medical colleges, baby-friendly hospitals in China, hospitals designated by Taiwan Province compatriots, the Ministry of Health and the State Education Commission. It has been awarded the titles of provincial civilized hospital, provincial green hospital, provincial advanced health unit, Jinhua civilized unit, honesty hospital and quality service hospital.
