How to paint a car? Steps:

Tool materials: touch-up pen, adhesive tape, water sandpaper.

Clean scratches

First of all, the rust, dirt and grease on the paint surface should be thoroughly removed. First, we can gently grind off the rust spots with very fine water sandpaper dipped in water and wipe them clean to ensure that the rust will not expand.

Paint repair

Carefully limit the upper and lower scratches with adhesive tape. Mainly to avoid accidentally pouring paint into other places, or car paint flowing. Shake the touch-up pen up and down for more than 30 times to make the paint liquid uniform. Then unscrew the bottle cap, take out the paint pen and scrape off the excess paint on the bottle mouth. Carefully unfold it and fill the scratches evenly with a pen tip. First, apply a thin layer. After the paint surface is slightly dry every 5 minutes, operate it for the second and third times until the paint surface at the scratch is slightly higher than the normal paint surface around. In order to achieve better results, grinding paste can also be used to smooth scratches and paint surface and increase the adhesion of car paint.

Polishing and polishing of paint surface

After waiting for 3 days, remove the adhesive tape and observe the paint surface. The paint surface is obviously higher than the surrounding area. Take out the single-sided blade, according to the method of modifying the drawings in the past, try to avoid hurting innocent people, and gently scrape off some high paint marks. The results show that the paint surface is soft and brittle, but the paint at some scratches has fallen off. Repaint the paint, wait for another 2 days, and soak it in soapy water with 2000-mesh water-resistant sandpaper for 20-30 minutes to make it softer, so as not to cause great damage to the paint surface of other original cars. Clean the dust on the surface, fix the sandpaper with sandpaper pad, and gently polish the paint surface at the scratch with water until the paint surface is consistent with the surrounding height.
