What does hub calibration mean?
1, axial correction

Axial correction is to correct the left and right shaking when the rim rotates. Before calibration, fix the wheels on the calibration frame. Please note that the center of the shaft should coincide with the center of the correction frame. Adjust the movable arm on the correction frame to align the end of the indicator screw with the outside of the rim, tighten the fixing screw on the movable arm, rotate the rim, and check the rocking degree and rocking section of the rim.

Tighten the spokes on the back of the swing part with a wrench and pull the swing part over; You can also relax the spokes inside the swing part to reduce the tension on this side. Attention should be paid to the operation: first, the torsional momentum of the cap should not be too large, generally not more than one or two turns; Second, the tightness of adjacent spokes and root spokes should be as similar as possible.

2. Radial correction

Make the rim from ellipse into concentric circles, observe the distance between the outer edge of the rim and the supporting plate, and understand the radius difference of different rims. First, loosen three to five nuts on both sides of the shortest radius section with a wrench to reduce tension and increase radius. Then, properly tighten three to five covers on both sides of the long radius part to increase the tension and reduce the radius.

After adjustment, slightly approach the adjustment support plate to further correct the spoke tightness at the short radius and the long radius of each part until the radii are basically equal.
