Basic conditions of honeysuckle planting
Honeysuckle has strong adaptability, and the choice of soil and climate is not strict, and sandy loam with thick soil layer is the best. Hillsides, terraces, weirs, dams and barren hills can all be cultivated. Propagation can be achieved by sowing, cutting and rooting.

Germinate and blossom on the new branches of the year. The requirements for soil are not strict, and both acid and saline-alkali land can grow. With developed root system and strong rooting ability, it is a good soil-fixing and water-retaining plant, which can be planted on hillsides and river banks.

1. The propagation methods of honeysuckle are seed propagation and cutting propagation.

(1) Seed propagation When the seeds are ripe in autumn, collect the ripe fruits, put them in clean water and knead them, remove the peels and impurities, take out the full seeds that have sunk to the bottom, and dry them for preservation. Autumn can be planted as you come. If you sow in the next spring, you can use sand storage method to treat the seeds for wintering, and then insert them after freezing in spring. Open a ditch with a row spacing of cm wide on the seedbed, evenly spread the seeds into the ditch, cover the soil with a thickness of 3 cm, compact it, and sprout in about 10 day. Field management should be strengthened at seedling stage, and seedlings can be sown in production fields in autumn or spring of the following year. The sowing amount per mu is about 1- 1.5 kg.

(2) The stems of cutting propagation honeysuckle can be used for cutting propagation in the growing season. Select the branches with vigorous growth of rattan stems, cut them into cuttings about 30cm long, and each cuttings has at least 3 nodes. Take off the leaves, cut the lower ends into oblique mouths, tie them into sticks, soak the sockets with plant hormone IAA500 mg/kg (500PPm), and insert fibers when fresh. The plant spacing is150cm x150cm. Dig holes, insert 3-5 stems in each hole, and leave 1/3 stems on the ground. At least one bud is exposed on the soil surface, and it can take root and sprout in about 1 month by pressing and pouring water. You can also cultivate cuttings into seedlings first and then transplant them into the ground.

2. Tian Tuan management

(1) After transplanting, intertillage weeding should be carried out 3-4 times a year. After 3 years, vines will grow luxuriantly, and depending on the weed situation, the number of weeding will be reduced.

(2) Topdressing should be combined with weeding and topdressing in spring and autumn every year. Farmhouse manure and chemical fertilizer can be used. Top-dressing urea is 30-40 kg per mu, and soil should be cultivated to protect roots under the plants.

(3) Repairing and shaping honeysuckle plants that have grown for 65,438+0-2 years, the rattan stems grow irregularly and need to be repaired and shaped, which is beneficial to the growth and flowering of the crown. Specific pruning method: mainly cultivate upright and stout trunk within 1 ~ 2 years after planting.

When the trunk is 30-40 cm high, cut off the top to promote the germination of lateral buds. After germination in the spring of the following year, 4-5 stout branches are selected as the main branches on the upper part of the trunk and planted in two layers, and 5-6 pairs of buds are left in the first branch of the main branch, and the upper terminal buds are cut off.
