Medical imaging technology trains senior medical talents who have basic theoretical knowledge and ability of basic medicine, clinical medicine and modern medical imaging, and can engage in medical imaging diagnosis, interventional radiology and medical imaging technology in medical and health units.

Students in this major mainly study the basic theoretical knowledge of basic medicine, clinical medicine and medical imaging, receive training in conventional radiology, CT, magnetic resonance, ultrasound, DSA and nuclear medical imaging, and have the basic ability of imaging diagnosis of common diseases and interventional radiology operation.
