1, congenital malformation
A small part of congenital malformation is hereditary, but most of it has nothing to do with heredity. The main reason is that the mother is exposed to chemicals, radiation, virus infection and so on. In the early pregnancy, some are caused by excessive drinking and smoking by prospective fathers. Especially expectant mothers who are pregnant for 4 to 6 weeks need protection, don't catch a cold and don't take medicine casually. The influence of industrial pollution on embryo development can be a teratogenic factor and damage the early differentiation of limb bud embryo base, which is an important cause of polydactyly.
2. Acquired finger joint deformity
The deformation of finger joints may be caused by internal rheumatoid arthritis. The onset of rheumatoid arthritis is quite slow and can be corrosive, usually manifested as inflammation of synovium, bone tissue, tendinitis and so on.
Common types of joint deformities
1, button fancy joint deformity: proximal interphalangeal joint flexion, distal interphalangeal joint hyperextension.
2, telescope deformity: due to a large number of metacarpal and phalangeal bones, fingers are obviously shortened, finger skin has obvious organ-like wrinkles, finger joints are loose and unstable, and there are abnormal lateral movements. The affected fingers can be lengthened or shortened, just like a telescope.
3. mallet finger deformity: the extensor tendon and flexor tendon of the finger are not completely torn, which elongates the tendon and forms flexion deformity of the distal interphalangeal joint.
4. Goose neck deformity: the metacarpophalangeal joint flexes, the proximal interphalangeal joint overstretches and the distal interphalangeal joint flexes, which looks like a goose's neck from the side.
Treatment of finger joint deformation
1, surgical treatment
In view of severe finger deformation, accompanied by swelling and pain and fever, surgery can be used. During the treatment, we should pay attention to avoiding activities as much as possible to avoid being injured again. We should actively cooperate with doctors, pay attention to preoperative care and postoperative maintenance, pay attention to rest and avoid activities.
2. Drug therapy
When the deformation of finger joint is relatively less serious, you must inform the doctor about the specific situation, and the professional doctor will analyze and judge the possible reasons, and then treat it with drugs. General drugs for treating finger joint deformation include steroid anti-inflammatory drugs, gold preparations, penicillamine and so on. It can effectively treat joint inflammation and help patients relieve pain.
Correction of finger flexion deformity
1. Treatment of flexor digitorum deformity: Z-plasty, patch transplantation, flexor superficialis tendon release and joint capsule release are feasible.
2. Commonly used flexor digitorum superficialis tendon amputation: make a transverse incision along the transverse stripes at the distal palm of the ring finger and little finger to expose the pulley and flexor digitorum superficialis tendon of the abnormal little finger. Separate and cut the tendon and straighten the little finger. Functional exercise after operation.
3. If there is soft tissue defect, Z-shape and skin grafting are feasible.
4. Under the guidance of professional doctors, patients can choose the clinical treatment method suitable for their own finger deformity.
