Excimer laser treatment center was established in 1996, with a history of 13 years. It is one of the earliest hospitals in Tianjin to carry out excimer laser treatment. Excimer center has ultra-modern precision equipment, which can provide up to /l kinds of refractive surgery.
Corneal surgery in our hospital includes allogeneic corneal transplantation, including penetrating keratoplasty, deep lamellar keratoplasty, partial lamellar keratoplasty, corneal stem cell transplantation, autologous conjunctival transplantation and amniotic membrane transplantation, all of which are at the leading level in China. Every year, about 100 patients successfully receive various corneal transplants.
The Eye Bank of Ophthalmology Center was built in 2000 according to the standards of American Eye Bank. It has advanced equipment such as in vitro corneal endothelial microscope and analysis system, constant temperature refrigerator for corneal preservation, slit lamp microscope, optical microscope and clean workbench. Since its establishment, Eye Bank has received strong support from universities, hospitals and all walks of life, and the number of registered volunteers has increased year by year. About 3000 volunteers registered for the record and became the reserve army for corneal donation. Provide guarantee for corneal transplantation. Ophthalmology and Ophthalmology of Tianjin Medical University is one of the key disciplines, which was founded in early 2004. Previously, I was able to successfully perform various orbital operations such as deep orbital tumor resection, orbital wall fracture repair and hyperthyroidism orbital wall decompression. , and jointly completed the difficult operations such as the resection of tumors with orbital cranial communication and orbital sinus communication, and also successfully performed the resection of deep orbital tumors for infants born less than 100 days.
