Beauty and Times magazine is the only bimonthly aesthetic culture in China. It was founded by Yu Youxian, former vice governor of Henan Province and director of the General Administration of Press and Publication, and Professor Zhang Han, an aesthete, during the reform and opening up and the upsurge of 1986 aesthetics. Sponsored by the Aesthetics Society of Henan Province and the Institute of Aesthetics of Zhengzhou University, famous domestic aesthetic experts such as Xin, Li Zehou, Li Zehou and Ma Qi were invited as consultants, and Yu Xiansheng was hired. Since 18, it has been focusing on young readers, facing all walks of life, cutting into the life of the times from the perspective of beauty, tirelessly spreading new aesthetic knowledge, cultivating the essence of beauty and expanding the realm of life. And keep pace with the times, adapt to the market economy, constantly adjust itself, improve the level in content and form, and have a wide impact at home and abroad. 200 1 was listed as a "double-effect periodical" (social and economic benefits) by the State Publishing Administration and entered the "China periodical phalanx". In order to meet the needs of aesthetic research, aesthetic education and quality education, with the support of China Aesthetic Society, Beauty and Times magazine was changed into a semi-monthly magazine with the approval of the publishing management department in April 2002, and the second half of each month was the academic edition of Aesthetics and Art, which published academic papers and works of art and became an important academic garden of aesthetics, art and education in China.
