What is the process scope of 9Cr2Mo forgings?
9cr2mo is rolled steel.

9Cr2Mo material is a typical Cr2 steel for cold roll. Used for manufacturing rollers, pressing rollers, cold stamping dies and punches for cold rolling.

Chemical constituents of 9Cr2Mo:

c:0.85-0.95;

Chromium Cr:1.70 ~ 2.10;

Manganese Mn: 0.20-0.35;

Molybdenum Mo: 0.20-0.40;

Nickel Ni: ≤ 0.25;

Phosphorus P: ≤ 0.025;

Sulfur s: ≤ 0.025;

Silicon Si: 0.25-0.45

9Cr2Mo heat treatment process:

1, spheroidizing annealing: heating at 790~8 10℃, isothermal at 650 ~ 670℃, and discharging at ≤500℃ for air cooling;

2. Quenching: heating temperature =880~900℃, quenching and cooling: according to different workpiece structures and different requirements, water, PAG quenching liquid, oil and other cooling media can be used.

Specification for quenching and tempering of 9cr2mo

1) quenching temperature 830-850℃, hardness 62-65 HRC, tempering temperature 130- 150℃, hardness 62-65 HRC.

2) Quenching temperature is 840 ~ 860°C, hardness is 6 1~63HRC, tempering temperature is150 ~170 C, and hardness is 60 ~62HRC.
