ECU(ElectronicControlUnit) electronic control unit, also known as driving computer, vehicle computer, etc. In terms of use, it is a special microcomputer controller for automobiles. Like ordinary computers, it consists of microprocessor (CPU), memory (ROM, RAM), input/output interface (I/O), analog-to-digital converter (A/D) and large-scale integrated circuits such as shaping and driving. In a word, ECU is the brain of a car. ?
Modifying ECU is to change the operation of the engine by changing the skill of handling faults (the original ECU program). The so-called ECU program is actually a set of algorithms, which are stored in the memory, and the signals converted by the input devices are processed by the controller to generate corresponding command signals, and then transmitted from the output devices. So when we modify the ECU parameters, we actually modify the algorithm. (Photo/Text/Photo: Pacific Auto Network Dong Peng)
