1. It is forbidden to throw cables or cable reels with cables from a height during transportation, especially at low temperature (generally about 5℃ or below), which may cause insulation and sheath cracking.
2. Avoid storing cables in the open air as much as possible. Cable reels are not allowed to lie flat.
3. When lifting the package, it is forbidden to lift several boards at the same time. On vehicles, ships and other means of transport, appropriate methods should be adopted to fix cable reels to prevent them from colliding or overturning, so as to prevent cables from being mechanically damaged.
4. Cables are forbidden to contact with acid, alkali and mineral oil, and should be stored in isolation from these corrosive substances. There should be no harmful gas that destroys insulation and corrodes metals in the warehouse where cables are stored.
5. During storage, cables shall be coiled regularly (once every three months in summer, and may be postponed as appropriate in other seasons). When rolling, the edge of the downward storage tray will turn upward to avoid the bottom surface from being damp and rotting. Always pay attention to whether the cable head is in good condition when storing.
6. The storage period of cables shall be limited to the delivery date of products, generally not exceeding one and a half years, and not exceeding two years at the longest. For the bending shape formed during cable laying, local stress methods such as hammering and torsion cannot be used, and the cable shape should be slowly eased through the cooperation of many people. The curvature radius of the bending part of cable laying shall not be less than 10 times of the cable outer diameter. The supporting and stressed part of the cable should be in smooth contact with the external contact surface, and the contact surface should not have protrusions and blades.
