Deng Yaping’s deeds

In childhood, Deng Yaping was determined to be an excellent athlete because of the influence of her father, who was a sports coach at the time. But she was short and had stubby hands and feet, which did not meet the requirements of the sports school. The door of the sports school failed to open to her. As a result, young Deng Yaping learned table tennis from her father. Her father stipulated that she must do 100 serving and receiving movements after physical training class every day. Although Deng Yaping was only seven or eight years old, in order to become more proficient in her ball skills and solidify her basic skills, she tied sandbags on her legs and replaced the wooden signs with iron ones. How precious this is for a child! This not only causes physical suffering, but also puts great pressure on the mind. For such a tiny girl, every step she takes to dodge, spread out, soar, or move can be described as difficult! My legs are swollen! My palms are worn out! This is a common occurrence! But she never complains or complains about being tired! The father who is responsible for training is sometimes so distressed that he sheds tears! Hard work always pays off. Due to Deng Yaping's persistence, at the age of 10, she won both the team and singles championships in the National Youth Table Tennis Competition. After joining the national team, Deng Yaping always overfulfilled her training tasks. According to the regulations, she would practice until 11:00 in the morning, so she would extend it to 11:45, and when the afternoon training ended at 6:00, she would practice until 6:45 or At 7:45, the closed training was stipulated to last until 9 p.m., but she practiced until after 11 o'clock. Deng Yaping often misses time for training, so she makes noodles by herself.

During multi-ball training, the coach hit the ball like a barrage of cannonballs. Deng Yaping kept her eyes wide open every time and meticulously caught the ball, more than 1,000 times in one catch. After every training session, Deng Yaping's clothes, shoes and socks were soaked with sweat. Sometimes even the floor would be soaked. She had to change clothes, shoes and socks, and even change the table to practice again. Deng Yaping has been engaged in heavy exercise and high-intensity training for a long time. From head to toe, Deng Yaping has suffered injuries in many parts of her body.
