First, the purpose of internship
Through Huoshan's practice, we can further consolidate the basic theoretical knowledge of ecology learned in class, make the classroom content no longer empty, and help us cultivate our social practice ability. Use this knowledge to observe, study, analyze and judge various ecological phenomena and solve practical problems. Train us to integrate theory with practice, and establish the thought and determination to love our major and study hard. Through the practical study of Huoshan Mountain, the vegetation around Huoshan Mountain has been observed more deeply, and the vegetation coverage and the source of vegetation types in Huoshan Mountain are understood, which is helpful to prevent natural disasters in the future. It is of great help to our future employment work and improves our practical operation ability.
Second, the internship requirements
1. Listen to the teacher's arrangement and listen carefully to the tutor's explanation during the internship.
2, carefully observe the phenomenon of vegetation coverage in Huoshan, and make records.
3. Learn the methods of analyzing vegetation distribution and cultivate the ability of ecological analysis.
4. Measure the DBH of trees, shrubs and herbs in 10 ~ 10, 5 ~ 5, 1 ~ 1 quadrat, respectively.
After the internship, write an ecological internship report.
Third, the internship task
1, preliminary observation and analysis of various vegetation in the field, focusing on the species and distribution of trees, shrubs and herbs.
2. Observe and understand several kinds of trees, shrubs and herbs, and understand their distribution in Xingtang Temple and Huoshan Mountain.
3. Observe the distribution characteristics of vegetation in Huoshan Mountain and learn the methods of analyzing vegetation characteristics.
Fourth, internship arrangements.
June 5-June 10
Internship location: Huoshan
1. Mobilization preparation stage
Through the mobilization and introduction of internship, students can understand the purpose, content, arrangement and required goals of internship. Prepare mentally and materially for the day.
The preparatory work includes: (1) Each class is divided into 4-5 groups, and the internship leader of each group is appointed; (2) Check the site supplies and other labor protection supplies (gloves, shovels, etc.). ); (4) Understand the record format of the field record book.
2. Teaching stage
Under the guidance of the teacher, we will conduct a week-long basic training on basic working methods in the field in groups.
The basic training contents are: (1) plant identification; (2) The landform and vegetation characteristics of Huoshan Mountain; (3) collecting plant specimens in the field; (4) making indoor specimens; (4) identification, description and preservation of specimens; (5) Statistics of biological abundance and diversity.
Requirements include: (1) sorting out the data collected on that day, and clearing and inking the drawings in time every day; (2) make an internship summary every day; (3) Preview the contents related to the next day's internship every day.
3. The stage of writing the internship report
Writing an internship report mainly cultivates students' ability to sort out, summarize and comprehensively analyze the actual investigation data, so as to integrate theory with practice. The time is 3-4 days.
Requirements: (1) The teacher explains the purpose and requirements of data collation, the format of the drawing and the outline of the report; (2) Students spend two-thirds of their time compiling maps and preparing preliminary reports; (3) The teacher carefully counsels, examines the drawings and corrects the first draft of the report; (4) Students spend one third of their time reviewing and copying.
4. Practical research methods
(1) Research method of vegetation in Huoshan Mountain
This practice mainly uses sampling method to measure factory data. First, measure a quadrat 10 ~ 10 with a tape measure, 5 ~ 5 shrubs and 65438 ~ 1 herbs. Then, all kinds of data are measured by meter ruler, and the species diversity in the investigation area is analyzed by using experimental data, and the species diversity index is obtained. Then, record the vegetation distribution and make the species distribution curve.
(2) Field investigation and measurement
The second day is the most important part of the internship. We mainly made a vegetation survey at the foot of Huoshan Mountain, and chose two different types of sample plots for field investigation. Firstly, the tree survey, shrub survey and herb survey were carried out to understand the vegetation species composition of the sample plot, and the species diversity index was obtained by analyzing the species diversity of the sample plot with experimental data. Secondly, the adjacent sample method is used to investigate the species of the sample plot, draw the species-area curve and determine the minimum sample plot area.

Seven, internship experience
From June 5 to June 10 this semester, we conducted a week-long comprehensive ecological practice, mainly in Xingtang Temple in Huoshan. Through this internship, I have basically mastered the skills and knowledge of field practice investigation, experimental data collection, indoor analysis and data processing and analysis.
Through this teaching practice, we not only consolidated our theoretical knowledge, but also greatly exercised our practical operation ability. Go out of the campus, walk into the embrace of nature and feel the charm of nature. In this field practice, we not only enjoyed the beautiful natural scenery of Huoshan Mountain, but also investigated the types and distribution characteristics of vegetation in Huoshan Mountain, learned and mastered some investigation and research methods of field vegetation practice, and improved our knowledge application and practical ability. In the process of field practice, although I am very tired, I am still very happy to see such beautiful natural scenery. This teaching practice has benefited us a lot.
Through this practice, we have consolidated, expanded and deepened the theoretical knowledge learned in class, mastered the identification methods of various vegetation, and more importantly, mastered all kinds of data on how to measure vegetation. Through this internship in Huoshan, I further consolidated the theoretical knowledge I learned in class, mastered various practical skills, and exercised my hands-on and brain skills. The first task of internship is to understand the vegetation and its medicinal and economic value in Huoshan Scenic Area. Internship in Huoshan Scenic Area not only enjoyed the beautiful scenery, but also learned the research methods of vegetation and cultivated their social practice ability. The second task is to measure all kinds of data of trees, shrubs and herbs on Huoshan Mountain. First, measure a quadrat of arbor 10 ~ 10, shrub 5 ~ 5 and herb 65438 ~ 1 with a tape measure. Then, all kinds of data are measured by meter ruler, and the species diversity in the investigation area is analyzed by using experimental data, and the species diversity index is obtained. Some basic investigation methods have also enhanced our team consciousness and cooperation spirit; In addition, in the harsh environment in the wild, we have also cultivated our fine style of hard work, independence and courage to explore. What is important in this internship is not a few dry data, but learning measurement methods and practical skills. On the afternoon of the second day of practice, under the guidance of our teacher, we got to know the representative plants in Huoshan area and their medicinal and economic values. We not only had a more vivid understanding of plant morphology, but also personally realized how to analyze the distribution of vegetation.
During the internship, I have a deep personal feeling, because we sit in the classroom all day, even if the teacher speaks vividly, we will not leave a deep impression. For example, the dog's tail grass hurts our ears when we hear it in textbooks, but we still can't say a thing or two. Some people know the name, but they don't know it. As soon as the teacher says the name, they suddenly realize it. Some people know it, but they can't relate it to the name. Let me know clearly how to learn by hand, and only in practice can I exercise my ability.
The short five-day internship passed quickly, and I was a little reluctant. During the internship, we helped each other with our classmates. When encountering dangerous terrain, we helped each other climb the mountain, which enhanced the friendship between classmates in the internship. Because the internship needs the cooperation of all students, each student is responsible for different measurement work, and the lack of any one student will affect the measurement work, so as to learn to unite with each other. In a word, internship has taught me a lot of things that I can't learn in class and things that theoretical teaching can't give, which has improved my practical internship ability.
The field practice site of this comprehensive ecological practice is located near Xingtang Temple in Huoshan, with beautiful scenery and pleasant climate. On June 5th, 20XX, we went to Huoshan internship site under the leadership of Mr. Yan Ming and Mr. Zhang, and got a general understanding of the surrounding environment that afternoon. In the next day or two, the teacher first introduced us to the representative plants in Huoshan area, and explained in detail the medicinal value of some plants and the utilization value of plant resources. In the next few days, under the leadership of our teacher, we systematically investigated the plant community structure on several typical hillsides, made investigation records and data collection, and made biodiversity analysis, species-area analysis and distribution pattern analysis. In the field practice, we learned some ecological terms and made a field trip to integrate theory with practice.
After returning from field practice every day, everyone began to record and consult the representative plants they didn't know, and classified the statistical data of the day, summed up their daily experience in groups, and recorded the newly recognized plants.
After returning to school, we conducted statistical experiments, mastered some basic ecological statistical methods, and learned to use the Internet to find relevant information. Although the internship is very hard, with everyone's efforts, all the students have successfully completed the internship task, achieved the predetermined goal, and gained a lot. The students not only consolidated the theoretical knowledge learned in class, but also laid a solid foundation for future practice, and truly integrated theory with practice. Field investigation practice has consolidated and expanded our professional knowledge, making it easier for us to link what we have learned with practice; Practice makes us realize our lack of knowledge, and we must pick up books and consult teachers humbly to make up for our own shortcomings. Through this practice, we learned the calculation of biodiversity index, the analysis of species-area relationship, the analysis of plant community pattern, and also got a certain understanding of the vegetation in Huoshan, and got to know the representative plants. In the analysis of various typical plots, the calculation methods of biological abundance, biomass and yield are mastered. At the same time, I overcame many difficulties through cooperation in the internship process, further realized that unity is the true meaning of strength, and enhanced the relationship between teachers and students and the friendship between classmates.
In life, personally, this is a hard internship and a test of life. These days, we deeply realized the hard work of internship. Teachers are not easy. Professional teachers are the leaders of the internship team. They should not only control the speed and direction to ensure the safety of students, but also keep explaining to us. I don't have much contact with teachers at school, and I found that teachers are also the cutest people during my internship.
Generally speaking, this is an informative internship and a perfect combination of theory and practice. In the process of practice, the teacher takes the field objects as an example to further teach us the theoretical knowledge learned in class, and give us enough time to observe and give us the opportunity to do it ourselves. I hope the school will arrange more internship opportunities in the future to enhance students' practical ability and master more knowledge.
