Hot bending glass mold
The hot bending die is mainly made of steel. According to different materials, the tools used are electric welding machine, cutting machine, pipe bender, etc. The pipe bender bends the steel pipe to the required radian and then bends it. After the radian is bent, the mold can be welded. The key of mold forming is that the radian must be on the same arc surface, the surface must be flat, the diagonal line is the same, and the four corners are on the same plane. Only in this way can the bent glass be flat. Not easy to deform. Generally, if the bent glass is 4-6mm glass, several pieces of glass can be baked in the same mold if there is a little error in the curvature of the molding. When baking, first spread a layer of glass fiber cloth on the mold and then put the glass, and spray some professional and excellent glass release agent between each glass for isolation, so that the effect will be more ideal and brighter.

Generally, the radian die adopts positive bending arc, that is, the U-shape in the middle of the side height. The glass baked by this mold can be shaped without external force and local heating. The temperature can be controlled at about 580℃, the time is controlled reasonably, and the formed hot bending glass will not have any problems.

The deep bending hot bending die is basically the same as the general shallow bending die, except that some deep bending glass products need external force or local heating to achieve the desired effect. Generally speaking, deep bending products are only fired once per mold. If it is necessary to fire two workpieces in the same mold, you should be more careful. If the temperature is slightly deviated, the glass will easily burst and be poorly formed. Especially thick glass, if you want to get the ideal product, you must have a good product experience. Generally, the two sides of deep-bent glass products bend downward during firing, which is opposite to the production direction of shallow-bent glass. In particular, deep-bent products with an angle above 180℃ must be fired by reverse mould.

The right-angle mold is very simple to make, as long as it is welded into a rectangular frame with square pipes or angle irons according to the size. However, special attention should be paid to the flatness and parallelism of the mold when welding. Positioning devices should be installed on both sides of the mold (that is, on both sides of the glass bending) to prevent excessive glass forming. Not a right-angle product, it will be scrapped.

Special attention should be paid to the mold making of hot bending products with special shapes. Only when the mold and template are completely consistent can qualified products be produced.

There are many hot bending products with special shapes, some of which can only be formed by local heating with external force and temperature. Others don't need external force. For some special hot bending products, we should use special hot bending furnace to produce them, such as bullets, U-shaped arcs, countertops, washbasins and other products.

Some small hot bending lamps, watches, fruit bowls, etc. Usually made of stainless steel. When firing, spray professional glass release agent for isolation, so as to minimize the pockmarks caused by excessive temperature.
