Lip bleaching is a tattoo technique. Under anesthesia, firstly, the tattooing liquid is penetrated into the designed lip line to determine the shape and outline of the lips, and then the whole lips are tattooed according to personal needs until the satisfactory lip color is achieved. If the decorative conditions and environment are limited, the lips may be infected and herpes. In 2002, the Ministry of Health issued the Measures for the Management of Medical Beauty Services, which clearly stipulated that lip color bleaching is a medical act and must be carried out in medical institutions, so we should carefully choose qualified medical institutions before lip color bleaching.

3. Preoperative design

4. Technical methods

(1) Clean the skin and disinfect it routinely.

② Local infiltration anesthesia, nerve block anesthesia or cotton pad soaked with anesthetic and adrenaline were applied to lips 10- 15 minutes for surface anesthesia.

③ Fix the lip skin, dip a little lip gloss bleach, draw the outline of the lip line first, wipe it with a cotton piece soaked in normal saline and adrenaline, and tattoo it repeatedly until the lip line is formed.

(4) If the whole lip tattoo is needed, after the lip line is tattooed, change the compound needle, and embroider with the dense short horizontal line method until the color is uniform, so that both the operator and the patient are satisfied.

⑤ After finishing the decoration, apply antibiotic ointment to the whole lip.

5. Risks and complications

Herpes labialis: the most common complication. After lip bleaching, you should take medicine orally and apply it according to the doctor's advice.

② Bacterial infection: red and swollen lips, dense pustules, pain and abdominal distension. You should go to the hospital at once.

③ Allergic reaction: flushing, itching and lichen-like changes around the lips, mainly because people with specific physique are intolerant of the pigments (mainly carbon, followed by the mixture of iron, steel and other elements) contained in the decoration liquid, and their tissues are incompatible, so they can be treated by oral administration and external application of drugs according to the doctor's advice.

④ Abnormal color of floating lips: black or brown lip lines, dark purple lips, which are out of proportion to their own skin color and lip color.

⑤ Scar: Generally caused by secondary infection or scar constitution.

6. Course of treatment and recovery time

① The lips may swell for a short time after bleaching, and the swelling of the lips is more obvious. Do intermittent cold compress within 24 hours after operation to eliminate local swelling.

② Apply antibiotic ointment locally every night to moisten lips to prevent chapping and peeling.

③ Take antibiotics orally for 3 days according to the doctor's advice after operation.

④ 3-7 days after operation, the scab was removed and the color became lighter. 1 month later, the color was replenished twice in half a year.

7. Preventive measures

(1) Don't put on makeup before treatment, and clean the treatment area.

Rinse your mouth with light salt water or water after meals to keep your lips clean.

③ If the swelling is obvious after treatment, cold compress can be carried out according to the doctor's advice.

④ You can't wash your face with overheated water or take a sauna within seven days after treatment.

⑤ Don't eat hot, hot and spicy food within seven days after operation, and eat more fruits and vegetables.

⑥ If there is scab, don't scratch it with your hands and let it fall off naturally.
