In the last three years, Yang Haisheng's home has been visited by strong lightning for five times, and the loss is not small.

This incident has attracted the attention of the meteorological department of Jiangxi Province. On August 3 1 day, meteorological technicians from Jiangxi Meteorological Disaster Prevention Technology Center, Nanchang City and Xinjian District visited the site again. After on-the-spot investigation and testing, experts found that Yang Haisheng's residence is really easy to "recruit thunder" because of environmental factors and the fact that lightning arresters are not installed in the house.

The technicians who participated in the lightning disaster investigation came from Jiangxi Meteorological Disaster Prevention Technology Center. Lin Changqing, chief of the disaster prevention department and senior engineer of the center, told the reporter that the field investigation found that the residual magnetism of the metal buried in the residential socket was high, and the residual magnetism data of stray iron, nails, steel bars and metal pipes in the lightning protection channel were between 1.5mT and 100 mt, so it can be judged that the cause of the accident was caused by lightning.

Comprehensive environmental factors, experts found that the south of the building is rice fields and ponds, and the other three sides are shorter houses. There are overhead cables within 30 meters around the building and mobile stations within 300 meters.

According to the monitoring of Jiangxi lightning location system, a lightning strike was detected about 1.26 km away from the disaster site. The lightning strike time coincides with the disaster occurrence time, and the distance between the monitoring lightning strike point and the disaster site is within the error range of the positioning system. Yang Haisheng's house was identified as a fire accident caused by lightning. The affected buildings are not equipped with lightning protection measures, and the affected buildings are brick-wood structures. Secondly, the affected buildings are located at the edge of wet paddy fields and ponds, and are vulnerable to lightning according to the selective characteristics of lightning.

Experts suggest that a lightning protection zone with a height of 10 to 15 cm can be built with bricks around the top floor of the third floor, which is a device for receiving lightning, and then down leads can be installed from the east and west sides to link the grounding grid on the first floor. When lightning occurs, it can be introduced into the ground without threatening people and property.
