Established in 1958, Yueyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the only large-scale comprehensive hospital in Yueyang City that integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, health care and rehabilitation. It is a national first-class hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, a national key hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, and an affiliated hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The hospital has complete functions of western medicine, outstanding characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine and strong comprehensive strength. The hospital currently has 1 182 cadres and workers, of whom 85.6% are professional technicians, 52 are full-time senior titles, 2 are associate senior titles 106, 2 are graduate tutors, 3 are doctors and 93 are masters, and they are experts enjoying special allowance from the State Council 1. The hospital covers an area of 57 mu, with a total construction area of 46,000 square meters and 654.38+10,000 beds. There were more than 420,000 outpatient visits and more than 20,000 discharge visits.
