1. Insert basic flowchart

Insert → Illustration →SmartArt→ Process → Basic Process, and click OK to complete the insertion.

Step 2 increase the number of shapes

Select the flowchart, and under the SmartArt Design tab, click Add Shape twice to add two shapes (as needed).

3. Adjust the shape position

The rectangle in the flowchart can be repositioned manually.

Hold down the rectangle to be moved with the mouse and drag it to the appropriate position. At this time, the arrow will automatically follow the movement.

Drag to get the L-shaped flow chart you want.
