At present, there are four commonly used materials for rhinoplasty:

1. hyaluronic acid: scientific name "hyaluronic acid". It is the most common substance in medical beauty. Hyaluronic acid can be divided into macromolecules and micromolecules. 3. Augmentation rhinoplasty: it is a porous solid material produced in the United States. It has many micropores and its properties are extremely stable. Soft and easy to plastic, the tip of the nose is opaque and not red. The operation is more realistic, but if there is infection after operation, the prosthesis needs to be taken out, which is more expensive than silicone.

4. Autologous cartilage: There are three kinds of cartilage that can be used as rhinoplasty materials: ear cartilage, nasal septum cartilage and autogenous costal cartilage. Autologous cartilage tissue has good compatibility and stability, and there will be no rejection. It is easy to survive after transplantation and has no stimulation to tissues after implantation. This rhinoplasty material is suitable for the overall plasticity of rhinoplasty and the special plasticity of nasal tip. It has good compatibility with nasal tip cartilage, real effect, no complications and no displacement infection, but it will have a certain absorption rate.
