Pruning auxiliary branches: auxiliary branches should be kept on the main branches of annual peach trees to ensure the growth of the main branches, and their growth should be controlled by retraction. The branches should be pruned at a distance of 20cm on the same side, and the branches that are too dense should be thinned out.
Trim side branches: the side branches on the main branch also need pruning. Select annual branches (or secondary branches or former branches), and the cutting length is less than 60cm. In order to ensure the normal results of the lateral branches, the branch angle between the lateral branches and the main branches is about 60, which extends obliquely outward. The cutting length is slightly shorter than that of the branches extended by the main branches, and the cutting buds generally leave outer buds. It avoids the disadvantage of mutual shading caused by overlapping of lateral branches and main branches.
Pruning branch group: combine cultivation and utilization when pruning. The pruning degree of big branches should be controlled reasonably, and the pruning degree of extended branches should be more important than that of side branches. Pay attention to the direction of cutting buds and extending branches to ensure their normal growth. The ability of large and medium branches in the crown is reduced, the base is rejuvenated, and the weak branches can be thinned.
