First, blue-and-white porcelain is fired in the green kiln.
Under-glaze decoration of blue and white is a new decoration method after carving, carving and printing in China ceramics. The so-called "blue and white porcelain" is to use several cyan colors, some light and some deep, to draw patterns, not other colors. This kind of porcelain called blue and white is actually blue, which is completely different from the blue of celadon. Its manufacturing method: firstly, green materials with various patterns are painted on the plain tire, then glazed and fired at a high temperature above 1200 degrees. "Cyan" is because the glaze contains cobalt oxide. The hue of this blue material varies greatly with the nature and temperature of the flame. If the glaze powder cannot be prepared accurately and the nature and temperature of the flame can be mastered, cobalt will not appear beautiful blue, or blue and white will change color greatly.
Second, the dragon can kiln fired dragon cans
"Lu Tao in Jingdezhen" said that "the dragon or blue and white was painted on the cylinder, so it was named after the dragon cylinder", and pointed out the origin of the name of the object, which was used exclusively by feudal emperors. As early as the Hongwu period in the Ming Dynasty, Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Factory had a dragon kiln, which was specially used to burn it. According to historical records, "Ming factory has' Dragon Kiln', also known as' Cylinder Kiln'. There is an equation for burning through the blue double Yunlong vase, including the blue double Yunlong vase, the blue-and-white porcelain vase, the four-ring tidal vase of Qinglong, the blue-and-white fish tank and the bean blue porcelain vase, which are collectively referred to as the "Dragon Kiln" because they paint more Yunlong or blue and white.
It can be seen that "Dragon Tank" is actually just a general term. As long as the porcelain jar is big enough, no matter what patterns are drawn, it can be called "dragon jar" The dragon jar is customized for the special needs of the royal family, so it is different from the production process of ordinary official kiln porcelain. Because of its huge volume, the preparatory work to be done is also complicated. Generally, there are special kiln factories for firing dragon tanks.
Three, box kiln firing kiln furniture sagger
Using sagger to fire ceramics can not only increase the loading capacity, prevent products from sticking and improve the yield, but also have certain thermal conductivity and thermal stability, which can ensure the quality of ceramics. The shape of a sagger varies with the shape of an object. The eggshell black pottery fired during the Longshan culture period in China used a special sagger. Two saggers for firing eggshell pottery of Longshan culture were unearthed at Yangjiazi site in Zhucheng, Shandong Province, which are the earliest known saggers. Saggers found in later generations were mainly porcelain, which was found in Xiang kiln in Sui Dynasty.
A large sagger consists of a straight wall and an inclined wall. The method of making a straight wall is similar to that of making a small box wall. The manufacturing method of inclined wall is similar to that of drawing porcelain blank, but because of the coarse particles of box mud, water operation is needed during trimming and molding. After the straight wall and inclined wall are finished, they are bonded with box pulp. The bonding method is basically the same as that of a small sagger.
