This Co-Cr-Ni alloy combines high strength, ductility and good mechanical properties, and can be age hardened. Phynox also has excellent fatigue life, corrosion resistance in various environments and non-magnetism.

It is used in situations where high corrosion resistance and/or low relaxation are required in environments with temperatures as high as 380 degrees Celsius (7 15 degrees Fahrenheit). This alloy can be used in medical instruments, dental products, surgical implants and plastic surgery.

Phynox is also known as Elgiloy, Alloy 3J2 1 and Conichrome. Phynox? /R30003 Co-Cr-Ni alloy
