How about washing your face with cold water?
Zhang Haiming, director of the Facial Plastic Surgery Center of the Plastic Surgery Hospital of China Academy of Medical Sciences, said that washing your face with hot water would burn the facial epidermis to varying degrees, and you might not feel it at that time. But if you wash your face with overheated water for a long time, your skin will age quickly. Because the skin is stimulated by hot water, the capillaries of the epidermis will expand rapidly, leading to skin relaxation and wrinkles. It is not good to wash your face with too cold water, because the small veins of epidermis contract when it is cold, which hinders the transport of nutrients in epidermal cells and makes the skin lack nutrition. At the same time, the skin is cold, the collagen under the skin becomes thinner and the elastic fibers become longer, which is very harmful to the skin. Zhang Haiming said that when washing your face, you should use water close to the skin temperature, and the appropriate temperature is around 37℃. Pay attention to the daily protection of facial skin, and don't wash your face with too hot or too cold water, otherwise your skin will age early.
