Propagation: Sowing and cutting shoots or planting roots and tillers separately. Cinnamomum camphora has many sprouting branches, which often affects the tree shape. In seedling stage, pruning should be carried out in time to keep the crown round and the branches evenly distributed, and the crown should be 2/3 of the tree height.
Transplant:
(1) Cinnamomum camphora should be pruned one week before transplantation, and the big wound above 10cm should be smooth and flat, disinfected and coated with protective agent. Transplanting soil balls and pruning some branches and leaves are beneficial to survival.
(2) When planting trees, we should first cut off the broken branches and roots caused by carelessness during the exercise, and make the branches thinner without affecting the overall tree shape; When planting evergreen trees, it is necessary to carry out strong cutting, leaf picking and bud wiping, and after planting, it is necessary to thin branches and pick leaves to improve their survival rate.
