[-w timeout] [-R] [-S srcaddr] [-4] [-6] Target name
Options:
-t Ping the specified host until it stops.
View statistics and continue-type Control-Break;; ;
Stop-type control-c.
-a resolves the address to a host name.
-n count the number of echo requests to send.
-l size send buffer size.
-f Set the "Do not segment" flag in the packet (only applicable to IPv4).
-My TTL survival time.
-v TOS service type (IPv4 only).
-r count records the routes that count hops (IPv4 only).
Time stamp of -s count count hop (IPv4 only).
-j host- Lists loose source routes with a host list (IPv4 only).
-k host- Use the host list to list strict source routes (IPv4 only).
-w timeout The timeout (in milliseconds) for waiting for each reply.
-R also uses the route header to test the reverse route (IPv6 only).
The source address to be used by srcaddr.
-4 Enforce the use of IPv4.
-6 Enforce the use of IPv6.
