Xi Air Force Hospital is now renamed as No.451Hospital of China People's Liberation Army, located at No.269 Youyi East Road, Xi City. Medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and prevention have a long history, complete disciplines, abundant talents, distinctive features and excellent equipment. The hospital was established in 195 1. In the past 62 years, the hospital has kept a close eye on the battlefield and training ground, focusing on the treatment of military war injuries, common diseases and frequently-occurring diseases, and rationally setting up disciplines. Successively established 1 Military Medical Specialist Center, 15 Military Region and provincial and ministerial medical specialist centers. In 2008, the Hospital Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established to support key disciplines with talents.
