First, soak the yeast in warm water for 10 minute to wake it up, and then mix the baking soda with the awakened yeast water. Be sure to use warm water, and the noodles should not be too hard.

Put the mixed noodles in a hot place at home, cover them and bake for 2 hours.

After 2 hours, you will find that the dough is ready. Then knead the dough on the panel and make it into the shape you want. The machete steamed bread I make is to knead the dough into long strips and cut it into almost equal pieces with a knife.

The most crucial step has arrived. Let the steamed bread stand for 20 minutes, preferably covered in a steamer to prevent the dough from drying out. This is called secondary fermentation.

After the second fermentation, put it into a pot, steam it with strong fire and cold water, and turn the water to medium fire for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, when the steamed bread is cooked, turn off the fire, but remember never to boil it. Be sure to wait for 5 minutes before boiling, so that steamed bread can be delicious.
