Roses have strong adaptability and bright colors. Powdery mildew is easy to occur when the season changes. A layer of powdery objects will appear on the surface of rose leaves. If it is not treated in time, the powder will spread rapidly, and all leaves will have the same situation, which will cause the leaves to turn yellow gradually and affect the growth of Chinese rose.
In the early stage of powdery mildew, infected leaves can be removed in time. If the disease is serious, 50% carbendazim and 70% thiophanate-methyl solution can be diluted, sprayed on the surface of pest leaves, and then watered for maintenance, which can improve the disease effect after one week.
Cultivation method of Chinese rose:
1, basin soil selection
The soil for raising Chinese rose flowers should be rich in nutrients, loose and breathable, and generally made of garden soil, Ji Kang ash, garbage soil, river sand and so on. The flowerpot should be a kind of pottery pot with strong air permeability and good drainage.
2. Fertilizer and water management
Adequate fertilizer supply can make Chinese rose flowers big, bright and fragrant. Water every 2~3 days during the growing period to avoid excessive water accumulation and wet roots.
3. Lighting temperature
Roses love light, so it is necessary to ensure that there are more than 6 hours of direct sunlight every day during the breeding process, and the light duration should be extended in winter. The optimum temperature for development is between18 and 22℃, and freezing injury may occur below 5℃.
4, scientific pruning
When the plant grows to about 15~20 cm, the top should be picked and the lateral buds should be pushed to explode. Prune rotten buds at flowering stage, control the flowering stage of Chinese rose, make it open naturally, and extend the flowering time of flowers.
Rose grows rapidly, and the air circulation is poor when the plants grow too densely, so it is necessary to prune the rose properly, and some diseased branches and dead branches can be removed.
