Li Xinhua studied plastic surgery in Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, and has been engaged in medical cosmetic surgery since 1985. He used to be the director of the Department of Beauty and Plastic Surgery in the No.181 Hospital of China People's Liberation Army, the visiting associate professor of the First Military Medical University, the dean of Beihai Yin Guang Plastic Surgery Hospital, the director of the Department of Beauty and Plastic Surgery in Guilin Air Force Hospital, the member of the Guangxi Branch of Medical Aesthetics of Chinese Medical Association, the member of the International Medical Beauty Society, the member of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, the member of the International Beauty Association Industry Association, the honorary member of the Korean Plastic Surgery Industry Association, and the member of the Medical Expert Committee of the China Science and Education Development Research Center. He was one of the earliest editors of China Journal of Aesthetic Medicine and China Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese and Western Famous Doctors.
